1. New Releases page

When it comes to creation of wiki content after an EpicDuel release, the most important page is the New Release page. It shows the contributors what is still missing and it shows the players exactly what was added to the game. These pages are usually created by the Wiki Staff, but it is perfectly fine if they are created by a regular contributor (In which case, the New Release page will be added to the Main Page as soon as a Wiki Staff member checks it for errors).

1.1 How To Create a New Releases Page

  • 1. The page must follow the naming pattern "New Releases/X", replace the "X" with the release number shown in game or in the design notes. (Example: New Releases/1.6.49)
  • 2. The page must have the version number and a date at the top. (Example: <font size=4>'''Omega 1.6.49'''</font> - '''July 2, 2015''')
  • 3. The formatting of the other release pages should be followed.
    • Titles, such as "Achievements", "Weapons", "Mutating Weapons", ... don't need to be listed alphabetically, but "Miscellaneous" should always be at the bottom.
    • Any sentences should be written in proper English.
    • Before saving the page, the design notes should be read carefully and it has to be made sure that nothing was missed.
    • If an item has returned or was updated it should have ''updated'' or ''returned'' tag. (Example: New Releases/1.5.38)
    • More examples of new releases pages can be found in the Template:Release Log or by searching "New Releases/" in the search bar.
    • Make sure to add any mission items that weren't added when the release page was created.

2. Content Creation

New pages must be created by following the proper formatting. These pages are usually marked with red links on the New Releases page. New Releases page shouldn't be completely trusted, as there could still be items missing from it.
