Recent uploads of "BrokenJadeMagnum.png" and "BrokenSuperPlasmaCleaver.png"

Hi LordMachaar,

If you take a look at this image, you will see a comparison of one of your previously uploaded images and the BrokenJadeMagnum image you recently uploaded. You will see that the quality of these images is quite different. This can be seen with the size of the text, the colour of the "Repairs Needed", and the blurriness of the overall weapon. This is usually because the image was taken with the low quality setting in-game, or saved improperly. If you still have these weapons, I do request that you re-upload the images as high quality PNGs.

The BrokenJadeMagnum and BrokenSuperPlasmaCleaver are the bad quality images, the BrokenCrabCrushers was there so you can see the difference between the quality of the two images, one being high quality and one not.

Ashari and I both made our own user pages, so if you like ours and would like to make one yourself from scratch, you can go ahead and go to your user page here: User:LordMachaar. If you would prefer to use one of our templates, or a form, you can see Template:User or Template:User2. Please note that all user pages must have the User: prefix, followed by your wiki username.

First, to sign your name on a talk page you would use ~~~~ instead of ----.

If you are unable to upload an image, I would suggest re-saving (not re-naming) the image as a png, gif, jpg, jpeg. Imaging uploads are working for me so I can confirm that the system is not broken. If you are still unable to upload an image using our image upload system, see if you can upload it on an external image website (such as TinyPic, give the link to me and I will upload it for you here.

Again use the tilde (~) instead of the hyphen (-) for signatures, you are inserting a horizontal line instead. Which page specifically are you trying to edit where that message is given?

To upload an image for your faction, you cannot replace our generic Image Needed image as it is protected. You have to upload an image yourself using this upload page and replace "ImageNeeded.jpg" with the new name of your image. If you are still having trouble, you can view our video tutorial on uploading images.

I've never seen that error myself but from what I found from others that have this problem is that the file extension of the image that you are trying to upload does not match with the name that it is associated with. (ex. File extension is .png, name ends with .PNG) The only solution I can provide is for you to upload the image on Tinypic, link it to me, then I will upload it for you here.

RE: Lore Master Achievement

Everyone has an equal chance to earn the Lore Master achievement but it requires plenty of constant contributing on the wiki. In my personal opinion, anyone the deserves the achievement right now already has it. Your current passive editing is not enough for the achievement and you will have to contribute for a significant period of time in order to obtain a recommendation from us.

If you are interested in contributing, please read the rules and EpicDuel Wiki:Editing Guidelines to see if you can fulfill our requirements. I would also like to add that this achievement is not easily obtainable and if you are thinking this is great for free rating points or bragging rights, you will not be able to last long enough to qualify.

There is no set time period nor amount edits required to obtain the Lore Master achievement. There is never a need to ask for things like this, it will be given to you in due time if you truly deserve it. Asking about it is not the way to start but instead, contributing is the right way to go.

Your image successfully updated the first time you uploaded a new version, it just didn't show up on your computer because of your cache. After re-uploading an image, remember to clear your cache to see the updated image.

RE: User Page and Blue star

First off, please include your signature (~~~~) when posting on talk pages.

There is no template (and there never will be) for my user page. If you wish to have one like it, you should look up some of the wiki code on Mediawiki's website and code it yourself. Custom user pages are available to everyone but you have to be able to make one yourself. If you are not familiar with the wiki code, I would suggest sticking to templates.

The stars do not automatically update and you will need to enter "Blue1" into the "|Stars=" field for a blue star to appear.

When experimenting with your user page, do not save the page. Always use the button instead and when you finally think that everything has gone right/looks good, then save the page. This is to avoid any unneeded spam with your page history.
