Seasonal/Limited Tags

As I see it now, the rare tag = seasonal rare tag = limited rare tag. The only difference is the category the item is placed in, but I think the tag is misleading for the seasonal and limited tags. We may also want to place a new tag possibly, for the Ultra Rare Items? It could also be confusing to see the tag as "Rare", but the item as "Ultra Rare" and etc. --SMGS | My Talk Page 20:52, 27 April 2012 (EDT)

I don't think we'll need a separate template but perhaps simply replacing the current '''Rare''' line with {{#switch: {{lc:{{{1}}}}} |limited='''Limited Rare'''|seasonal='''Seasonal Rare'''|#default='''Rare'''}} instead. Ultra Rares we can also incorporate with the above line.

Seasonal Rares: This item was introduced during a special in-game event and is available only when the event is occurs again.
Limited Rares: This item was introduced and made available in a limited quantity only. I cannot see the difference between Ultra Rares and Rares. Is it only the Alpha weapons that are Ultra Rare? --SMGS | My Talk Page 21:27, 27 April 2012 (EDT)

I think description for limited rares should be something like this: "This item was introduced with a limited quantity available for sale and might be currently out of stock." Because limited rares are restocked a lot of times and it might be misleading for players if they see them tagged as "out of stock" on the wiki.

Looking through the event items, I'm noticing that some are both limited and seasonal rares. Maybe what we could do is keep the tag named seasonal, but change the description a bit, to: "This item was introduced during a special in-game event with a limited quantity for sale and will return when the said event occurs again." --SMGS | My Talk Page EpicDuel Wiki Administrator 09:39, 6 May 2012 (EDT)

Done. Here is the tag "{{rare|limited-seasonal}}". It puts items in both categories and the name of the tag is "Limited Seasonal Rare".
