War Event
War Events occur on an infinite cycle, otherwise known as the War Cycle or War 2.0, in which Exile and Legion fight for control over 10 regions of Delta V, starting with the Dread Plains and finishing in Central Station. During wars, players use bomb drops won from PvP battles to deal damage for their alignment and gain Influence towards the region. At the end of each event, players claim a War Prize based on how much Influence they earned.
General
During wars, a war bar shows the damage dealt by each alignment and can be used to jump to various war objectives across the contested region. Each region has a Primary Objective, controlled by the defending alignment (Defense—the alignment that won the previous war in that region) and several Standard Objectives, controlled by the attacking alignment (Offense). Each objective has an HP bar; the first alignment to deal enough damage to destroy all the other side's objectives wins.
The total HP of each side's objectives is the same, but the amount fluctuates from war to war. The HP of a given war is determined by the HP and duration of the previous war in a way that attempts to scale the duration of each war to be 2 weeks. Therefore, if a war lasts longer than 14 days, the total HP is expected to increase for the next war and vice versa.
After every war, there is a 1 week (168 hour) cooldown period counting from the start of the hour that the last war ended. During this period, you gain "General" Influence automatically from winning PvP battles. Although these are automated processes, devs have occasionally intervened to increase the cooldown period to accommodate other events or lower the total HP to shorten the duration of a war that was taking too long.
War Items (Bombs)
You can hold up to 10 War Items for a side and region. These are broken into two types:
- Normal: Deals 25-34 Damage/Influence
- Chance to drop when you win a 1v1, 2v2 (nearly guaranteed), or Juggernaut (lowest chance) battle.
- 100% chance to drop when you win if War Commander is equipped.
- Super: Deals 102-138 Damage/Influence (4x Normal)
- Chance to drop when you win a 1v1, 2v2, or Juggernaut battle, at about one fourth the rate as Normal War Items.
- Can be directly purchased for 195 Varium at the region's Ammo Depot (restocks 50 per hour).
- Normal War Items can be upgraded to Supers at the objectives for 125 Varium.
- Cannot drop while War Commander is equipped except during a War Rally for your alignment. Then, the chance is 100%.
A War Rally (
) has a random chance to trigger for the losing alignment once they trail behind by 1% or more of the total HP. For example, if the total HP of a war were 2,000,000, the minimum gap required would be 20,000. If the deficit is maintained, a rally is guaranteed to initiate within 12 hours of it being reached. When a rally starts, a 6 hour cooldown period ensues that prevents either side from getting another rally. In the case that a alignment is losing severely and perpetually meets the required deficit, they would get a War Rally every 6-12 hours, or 2-3 times a day! War Rallies last for 1 hour and guarantee that every War Item dropped is a Super War Item.
Using Super War Items upgrades your War Item Upgrader achievement. All influence gained from using War Items counts towards your War Influence achievement for that region.

Since the February 2019 Dread Plains War (War Cycle 6), War items deal the same damage no matter which objective is used or your alignment. Previously, the Primary Objective dealt 34-46 Damage and Offense controlled a Health Objective, which dealt damage more damage the higher HP it had, and a Finisher Objective, which dealt more damage as the Primary Objective lost HP.
Leaderboard
Each region has a pair of War Flags that displays the top player and faction from each alignment that earned the most Influence that war. Clicking the flag displays a Daily and Overall Leaderboard with the top 20 players and factions.
Players that win the Daily Leaderboard are awarded the War Hero achievement. Factions that win the Daily Leaderboard are awarded a World Domination. These are awarded upon daily reset (Server Time), so they are not awarded on the day that the war ends.
After the war ends, the top players and factions are immortalized on the flags until the next time the war happens in that region. If a player switches alignments or a faction is disbanded during this time, they will be removed from the leaderboard.
Switching Alignments
You cannot switch your alignment during wars. During war cooldown, you can change to the weaker alignment for free or the stronger alignment for a 1,250 Varium fee. A list of all NPCs that offer alignment changing services can be found here. Note that the "weaker" and "stronger" alignment is not determined by who won the last war. The algorithm has not been disclosed but is likely based on the number of active players on each alignment.
Because switching alignments resets your temporary war data (achievements are not affected), make sure to claim the latest War Prize before switching.

Almost every war has had a new Rare Bonus Item prize. For the first 3 Wars, members of the winning alignment could choose between one of two Rare Bonus Item prizes, 10000 Credits, or 10 Arcade Tokens for free; the other Rare item could be purchased for 795 Varium. The losers had to purchase both items. Starting from the April 2019 Infernal Mines War, a 15k Influence Warlord tier was added to allow players to earn the Rare Bonus Item regardless if their alignment wins.
